Prominence
How often a brand, person, or source is surfaced across trusted contexts.
Prominence measures how many high-trust surfaces already know your name — Wikipedia, industry press, credible directories, expert citations.
What prominence actually is
Prominence is corpus recognition. It is the sum of every place a synthesis engine has already 'seen' your name, in a context it treats as credible.
It is not the same as brand awareness. A brand can be famous with consumers and invisible to the corpus, or vice versa. What matters is the model's picture, not the market's.
How to build it
Sustained coverage in trusted press, directory presence in the categories that matter, expert citations by name, structured author entities that connect across sites.
There is no shortcut. Prominence compounds slowly and then supports every other pillar once it exists.
