Relevance
How closely content maps to the concepts, entities, and tasks users care about.
Relevance in an answer world is about entities and jobs-to-be-done, not keyword variants.
From keywords to entities
Relevance used to be evaluated at the query-string level. It is now evaluated at the entity and job level. A page is relevant if it covers the concept end-to-end for the audience the model is trying to satisfy.
Practically, this means content briefs list entities and jobs, not phrases.
Coverage over cleverness
Comprehensive coverage of the entities in a category is a stronger relevance signal than clever coverage of a single phrase.
Relevance in this world rewards being the source that models the whole topic, not the source that wins one query.
